The Explorer

If you have been following my looks for some time, you would have notice that the one fabric I rarely wear as pants would be denim. Honestly, I am not a fan of denim in any way other than the famous staple piece, the denim jacket. However, when I was going the racks of the thrift store, I realized that I need to at least have a pair of denim shorts and pants in my closest for emergency cases. (By emergency I mean last minute outfits or mornings where I will wake up late and have no clue on what to wear)

For this look, I’ve simply mashed another 2 contrasting prints because I felt that just wearing of them each makes me feel bare and naked. In actual life, the outwear is actually much more blue than compared to these photos. Inspired by my dear fashionista friend, Sean Seyfriend, I decided to finish the look by adding my pair of high cut Dr Martens that I seldom wear out nowadays because I hate the combination of Boots and Pants being worn together.

A friend commented on my instagram post saying I look like “Dora the Explorer” and hence I decided to name this look “The Explorer”. After taking a good looking at this outfit, I actually would agree with my friend!
