Top, Robe and Shorts: Vintage Thrift and the robe is vintage Ralph Lauren | Shoes: Underground Creepers | Accessories: eBay
Embracing green like never before, all in one outfit. Ever since I got my hair dyed green, I noticed I always find myself wearing a lot of green pieces. Green isn’t my favourite colour honestly but it’s a colour that I enjoy experimenting and playing with.
The clothes in this outfit are all thrifted and yes, the thrift shops here in the Philippines are like treasure island to because I always can find the most wonderful things I can never imagine of! The other day I was out thrifting, I found a pair of creepers and a really lovely pair of vintage Versace high-wasited pants. It really takes a lot of effort and patience in finding good things too.
One of the current trending prints this year would have to be the tropical palm tree print. I don’t follow trend but I really love this particular print because it looks really spring/summer-ish and also rad at the same time. Plus the fact that it’s usually green makes me fall in love with it all over again.
I got the robe from a thrift store that is a few stores away from the thrift store where I got the printed shorts. At first I was comptemplating on getting it because it did look like a bath robe but I thought why not experiment with it. Plus I have been really into Kimono/long outwears recently. I have worn it a few times in school so far and though I get the occasional stares and laughers, I really like it because it changes how your outfit would look like.
I’ve decided to finish my outfit with some gold accessories - The necklace which I am using to death and also the gold watch that my dad handed down to me as a gift for my 16th birthday. I am a real big fan of gold accessories because unlike silver, gold tends to give your outfit a nice posh looking touch to it while making it pop.
Sotimes I tend to think I am indeed a walking tree because of my hair and the fact that I always walk around with my creepers. Trees are taller that most people after all, right? Till my next post!
