Top: Both vintage, blue one was handed down from dad and the black one was from Philippines | Pants: Peninsula Plaza | Shoes: Underground Triple Sole Creepers | Accessories: Costume Store (Shades) and a shop in J8 which I cant remember it's name (Gold Chain)
I wore this outfit a few days ago when I went to Temasek Poly to settle some stuff. I also went to collect some of the clothes which I sent for alteration, tapering and also repairing and yes I am very happy with the results!
I've decided to clash different patterns together for this outfit and also play around with the colours. I really love this blue top that my dad gave me because it looks so vintage-like and also preppy! Another reason why I love it is because it is actually very easy to match with other colours like my new reddish maroon pants I got from Peninsula plaza last week! I honestly have no idea I would be playing around with maroon bottoms since after my Topman one became too tight.
I decided to wear this lovely black and gold baroque-like printed top that I got from Philippines over the blue top to make the whole outfit look really interesting. I got the black top from a thrift shop in Philippines. When I found it, I knew I had to get it straight way without having to try it on considering that fact that it looks oversized! I manged to get the gold chain for a lower price than compared to eBay because I really need one. By adding a gold chain to any simple outfit, it actually makes the outfit look better with a pop of gold to it.
Closer details of my outfit:
The print of the black shirt continues behind and it somehow reminds me of cheese and beer (????). I honestly love my creepers to death now because not only it goes well with ANY outfit that I styled up but also because it is comfortable. I have been wearing it to work and also when im running errands and I've also ran in them! It's as almost as comfortable as my low cut Dr Martens. I get a lot of stares when I wear it out but oh wells!
I have ton of pictures in my com now and I'm eager to share more outfit posts with you guys so stay tuned!
