Blue, I Feel Like A Smurf

Top and Pants: Hand-me-downs | Shoes: Rajo! For Milanos | Accessories: Philippines (Shades), Muji (Plastic-glass box) and H&M (Huge Fedora)

Sometimes I find myself wearing pieces that has repeated colours and the strange thing is that I dont realize them until after a while! When I was planning an outfit to wear for work the next day, this was what I pictured in my head, without having to realize that they are all blue pieces! Blue, the colour of smurf. The colour of the ocean water. The colour of the sky. Yes, Blue. (By the way blue isn't my favourite colour either.)

Like what I said in my previous post about this blue top, it is easy to match it with. This time I've decided to play with similar colours. Throwing on this pair of vintage blue pants my grandma gave to me while I was at Philippines and a pair of blue loafers that Rajo Laurel collaborated with Milanos, a Smurf uniform has been created!!!! (Okay forgive me for being "funny")

I've decided to add a gold chain to give this outfit a colour pop because the whole outfit is just mainly one colour. I managed to get the huge fedora from H&M after work last week and thankfully I did because they were running out of stocks. I really needed a larger one because the one I had before was getting smaller. Though it was a little pricey, I guess it was worth it. The plastic-glass box that I used as a clutch was from Muji which I think was a pretty good investment until now because it actually makes your whole outfit look edgy and high fashion like.

Closer details of my outfit:

Excuse the messy arrangement in my clutch (the negative part about having a clutch that is totally transparent!) because I was rushing to stuff everything inside. This outfit kinda reminds me of what a king would wear, like a Chinese emperor, because of the colour scheme and also the fedora. I might actually wear this outfit again because I really loved it! I wore this to work too by the way and some of the people at my workplace thought I had a date to go at night because they said I look a little more formal that most days.

Till my next post!
