So after about a month being away from this journal, I am finally back. Sometimes it's so hard to keep up with blogging because school takes up a lot of my time. While I was away, a bunch of events took place and here's a documented version of the more important events.
18th Birthday Weekend
So I finally turned 18! To kick start my first weekend being legal, my parents bought me tickets to spend my 18th birthday with them at Singapore. We had Mexican food on my birthday night (25th July) and it was so delicious. It was also special to me because that was my first time eating authentic Mexican dishes. I went to get my hair done the next day and also watched one of my good friend's theatre play at school. I also managed to take a stroll around town because I really missed that place so much! My friends came over on Sunday and all of us hung out like the good old days. On my last day in Singapore, my mum decided to take us all out to Sentosa! We did some shopping earlier in the day and we spent the rest of the day at Sentosa. It was an amazing weekend mainly because I missed spending time with my family!
Switching to #teamiPhone
So finally after a good 2 years and 4 months with my Samsung S3, it was time to say goodbye to it. It died after a careless incident that consisted some running and dropping from an awful distance. I finally decided to switch back to apple due to mainly its system and also because of how minimal it is, compared to an Andriod phone. So far, I'm really loving how clear and sharp the camera of the iPhone is!
My Feature on youngstar
A night before my birthday, I had a shoot with youngstar, a branch from a local newspaper company, to do a shoot for their collaboration with Bench. What we were told was that we had to style up this simple plain white tee according to our own personal styles! The best part was that we get to keep the white tee after the shoot. I love how soft the tee is and this is my very first Bench item that I have ever owned! I had a great time personally because I got to meet the other young local fashion enthusiasts here in The Philippines. It was really interesting observing the different genres of styles all of them had, especially when they are styling the simple white tee up according to their own tastes. Half A Year!
Recently Mamuro and I spent our half-a-year monthsary together while I was sick. I really feel blessed to be with someone who takes care of me when i'm sick, someone who still accepts me for who I am despite being a difficult person at times. Thanks for everything!
Coachella Weekend With The 2nd Family
Just before my term break was about to end, my friends and I attend one of our good friend's debut which was themed as a Coachella evening party. Stay tuned for a separate post to this!
