First Post for 2014 / Self Reflection

Two pictures of me taken at different years. The first one was taken back at the early part of 2013 and the second was taken just days ago. See how time flies? Bam, another year has passed. This post is meant to be something that's more personal than most of my usual outfit posts. I figured out that I should just post up my reflections for 2013 over here because I know definitely months from now, I will look back at this post and reflect again on my progress.

Warning to whoever's gonna read this post: This is going to contain a lot of words so if you're not a fan of reading, I advise you to not continue because you will get bored.

2013 was a very very big year for me. I started out on a really rough side because of my horrible O Level results. I got a really bad score which resulted to a change in the course of my life. All my plans I had before, for the distant future, gone. At first, I tried thinking of alternative solutions to somewhat get back to the path I decided for myself. I tried appealing to the course of my choice a few times and I got rejected. Thankfully, my parents already made plans ahead of me even before I graduated from Secondary School.

After receiving my O Level results, my future education plans slowly became more and more clearer to me. I took an entrance exam at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde to apply for my course, Fashion Design and Merchandising. I passed the entrance exam and that was it, my future education plans was sealed.

Fast forwarding to today, right now. I am currently at my 3rd term, 1st year in College. The past months, well almost coming to a year now, have been a pretty amazing journey to me. I honestly do not regret anything because of the wonderful experiences and memories that has taught me so much valuable lessons.

I learned a lot about myself throughout my journey so far at College. I became more aware of my strengths and weaknesses as well which became very useful, especially when it comes to decision making.

Now that 2014 has just started, well technically even though a month has passed, I am very determined to make this year a more fruitful one. I also have some plans that I hope to achieve this year. I know I don't always blog but this year, I am going to try my best to get back into the habit of blogging.

Stay tuned for more future posts guys!
