Shirt and Shorts (originally pants): Vintage, Thrift | Jacket: DIYed and Customized | Snapback: New Era’s Captain American inspired | Shoes: Depression | Accessories: Topshop (socks) and Far East Plaza (Silver Collar Necklace) 

This the last outfit that I have in my folder of saved outfits. I wore this outfit to school on my 17th birthday and surprisingly this outfit is also last minute planned out because I remembered that week was rather hectic due to the fact that I had so many projects that were due plus it was mid-term week.

I really had no birthday outfit planned in mind and whilst bathing, I was trying to coordinate pieces in my head together and I came up with this. A simple colour scheme of White, Blue and Black, it managed to look rather dressed up and fun because it was my birthday after all! I decided that I should give my creepers a break instead wear my Depression cut out shoes with my topshop glitter socks. Also, this is my first time being able to dress up on my birthday and go to school because I have finally freedom to wear whatever I want to school!!!

I also decided to add some colour into my outfit by throwing on that colourful jacket that I specially DIYed and customized. Originally, it was just a super baggy plain denim shirt. I had it bleached and then messily dyed with all sorts of different fabric dyes that my sister bought for her own DIY project. Once it was dyed completely, I sent it to the tailors to get the sleeves changed into the camo ones that my sister cut out from one of my camo jackets (She turned that jacket into a vest yay!). A lot of work was done to it and I guess all the effort was worth it because I really love the result of it!

I remembered on that day I came into class feeling like a zombie because I barely had enough sleep. I was late as well for class. However, after the first subject (ughh horrible way to start the special day by having another boring Alegebra lecture), my friends surprised me with a big chocolate cake and a birthday card. I was literally surprised because I didn’t expect anything special for my birthday this year. Plus the whole class sang “Happy Birthday” about a few times throughout the whole day. Krixia, one of my College best buds, bought me that delicious cake while some of my other best buds helped to decorate it. I really felt so touched by what they did. I really love my College best buds and also my crazy loud block!

Well that’s all for my saved outfits that I have. From tomorrow onwards, all the outfits that I shall be posting up are the current and up to date ones. Also, I’m planning to do some lifestyle posts for this journal because my life is not just about fashion. Stay tuned guys!
