Top: H&M | Jacket: Vintage Giordano, Philippines | Pants: H&M | Snap-back: Hater | Socks: Uniqlo | Shoes: Underground
I have this habit of buying clothes and immediately changing into them, especially if I feel that my current outfit would look better with that new clothing item I bought. I was window shopping with a friend that night at H&M when I happen to stumble upon this beautiful pair of floral ombre silk pants at the woman's section (the bottoms there are soooooooooooo much better than the male's section honestly!) and without having to think twice, I purchased it after trying them on. While waiting for my friend to try some clothes at F21 afterwards, I went to change into them!
If you have been following my instagram (@monstrousthoughts) or my blog for a while you would have noticed that I am very very VERY fond of patterns. Anything that has got to do with patterns is a immediate yes for me. Clashing patterns is something that I love working on because there is more to just that patterned clothing item. The best part about this pair of pants is that I can wear them to school (due to the strict rules they have on attire) and like what I said in the previous two posts, this pair of pants can be a statement to an outfit. I can already imagine myself pair this pair of pants with basics and my vintage low cut Dr Martens and a baggy outwear and out I go.
The jacket and snap-back both belongs to my sister but since they go very well with this outfit, why not "borrow" them? I honestly love the snap-back because of the patterns and how it stands out individually as a snap-back on it's own. In fact, I'm planning on investing on it soon!
Closer details of the outfit:
On the side note, my days here are getting numbered. I have about less than a week here before flying off and start a fresh new school year. I have so many thoughts in my head recently till I find myself slipping away from reality. I just want to disappear from all these situations but running away from your problems isn't gonna help you to solve anything.
Till then!
