Pattern Whore

Tops: Phillippines | Shorts:  ASOS | Shoes: Underground | Accessories: ASOS (Gold Rings) and JU (Gold Chain necklace)

I always find myself clashing a lot of patterns together in one outfit. At first I thought it would look funny and weird but as time progressed by, it became a natural habit of mine to just pick pieces with patterns and mash them together. When I look at those outfits I came out with, I actually thought they look pretty good and there's a certain touch of fun to it.

For this outfit, I've decided to clash three patterns together: Green Leaves, Grey Paisley baroque-ish and soft and light-looking feathers. With clashing patterns comes clashing colours as well. The colour palette for this outfit is pretty simple as well. Nothing to dull nor too bright. I decided to throw over the grey shirt because it seemed pretty big and it would definitely make a good outerwear for this outfit.

Gotta love the thrift stores in Philippines. I found these two lovely vintage pieces in the same thrift store near my grandmother's place! What a score! For the shorts, I managed to get them at ASOS' sale section and they fit comfortably! Plus one point for the lovely soft feather print on them because like what this post's title is, I'm a pattern whore! I've also decided to use gold accessories for this outfit to add a bit of bright colours to it. I honestly feel that the gold chain is one versatile accessory that everyone must have in their wardrobes because it really makes an outfit look better!

Closer details of the outfit:

(Really loving the 3 pack gold rings I got from ASOS!)

Well I'm going to be a away for 3 days because I'm off to a resort with my friends to chill and relax. I will try to take a few outfit shots as well because I've already planned out a few pieces together!

Oh and by the way, the images taken above were taken using my SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 phone. Pretty amazing job huh, the image quality is even better than my own camera! Till then!
