Green Green Statement Green

(This shot would have been perfect........... if only my necklace was on the right position)

Blazer: Vintage, Charity Shop | Top: Vintage, Philippines | Shorts: Vintage, Hand me downs | Shoes: Rajo! For Milanos (Philippines) | Accessories: 168 Mall (Philippines, Shades + Necklace), SM Mall of Asia (Bag and shoes)

So here's an outfit post as promised! I wore this yesterday to Temasek Polytechnic's open house because I felt like dressing up. Everything head to toe (excluding the blazer) is from Philippines. Oh how I miss the thrift  stores over there. The stuff you get to find is really really really unique and one of a kind! Just like the grey paisley shirt I found. When I was searching through the clothing racks, it immediately caught my eye and I knew I had to get it straight away because it was really in a good condition and the prints were really beautiful! The Houndstooth bag is another example of an item which made think only once before getting it. The prints, THE PRINTS!!! I've always wanted to get a small satchel sling bag with prints and the best part is, I only got it for less than 15SGD when I convert it into Singapore currency. The green skull necklace was another score because cost really really cheap (not sure how much though) and I have not seen it around here and so I had to get it the moment I saw it hanging on the shelf! Philippines indeed really has a lot of interesting things to offer.

The loafers were from SM Mall as well and I already knew that Philippines had this pair of loafers on the shelves through some other blogger. I happened to pass by his blog and those pair of shoes really got my attention! I really wanted to get the black and gold pair but sadly they ran out of stock for my size and so I decided to get the blue ones because the colour really looks unique. On top of that, my wardrobe really really lacks of coloured footwear (by coloured I excluded black and brown shoes). The shoes also reminded me of Ted Baker's Treep formal slippers due to the cutting and style. Hmm however the only difference is the logo print on the loafers.

Well that concludes this post, results will be released on this Thursday. Wish me luck guys, I really hope and pray to god that I can get into the course of my choice.
