Hello readers! Finally I'm able to do a proper blog post on Actually Mag's event that took place on Wednesday. Firstly, I decided to pair up my ombre pants with green plaid tops and my usual low cut Dr Martens. I wanted to go full plaid but I felt it might look too boring because they are all in the same patterns. I also chose simple accessories with the outfit because I felt that if I wore more wrist accessories, it might not look good with the outfit. Oh and I recently got a Casio watch after many months of wanting it! I love the colour combination because it looks both vintage and very very preppy! Plus the ring went well with both the watch and the outfit too. I went to the event with Lina and met Zei Kei (Poshism crew member!) and her friend Clement along the way. I managed to snap a candid shot of her and she looked really good still! (LOVE HER HAIR!!!!)
Here's Lina's outfit for the night! She looked really stunning because I was telling her earlier how I admire Muslim female fashion people because of the challenges they have to face when it comes to picking an outfit because of their religion. She still managed to look good despite the requirements she had to fulfill. THUMBS UP!!!
The event was really very knowledgeable because I got to hear experienced people who are working in the fashion industry to share their experiences, challenges and also answer some of the question the audience have for them. I was busy taking down notes as well just in case I need them for future references!
The speakers for the event! (Credits to the image goes to ActuallyMAG)
Jo Soh (Hansel), Mae Pang, Jimmy Lim (FJ Benjamin), Patricia Lim (Female), Cary Cheng (Glamour Inc) , Nazry Zakaria (Club Monaco) , Pei Zhen (Cloutshoppe)
Since I had to re-take my outfit because the lighting that night was bad, I decided to take advantage of the moment and dress my sister up too muahahahaha! The top, belt, scarf, socks and shades belongs to me and the rest is hers!
Oh and here's a GIF of her being retarded as usual because she said she wanted to make a GIF for my blog post haha!
And some more candid shots of us and her....
Okay ending off this post here. Till then!
